Canadian Icon Idol  Grade 8 students explored elements of Canadian identity and generated a list of icons.  These icons became characters which were used in iMovies, commercials and heritage minute style spots created by the students.  The students also composed original Icon Idol songs which competed to represent the country in the school's production of Canadian Icon Idol in front of a live audience event at the school.
